Demographic Information for Filtering
Your deck includes demographic information (such as gender, ethnicity, religion, education, and location) that powers our ViSi filtering system (Silters and Vilters). You control the visibility of this information as follows:
- All demographic information can be used for Silters and Vilters filtering, whether visible or hidden
- You choose which demographic information is displayed on your deck and which remains hidden
- Hidden demographic information is never visible to other users viewing your deck—it only affects filtering
- Vilters enable bidirectional filtering so both Lovers must pass each other's preferences before either can view the other's deck
Communications
- Messages you send to other users
- Communications with our support team
- Feedback and survey responses

- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and features used

1.3 Information from Third Parties
Payment Processors
When you make a purchase, our payment processor may share transaction confirmation and limited payment details with us. We do not receive or store your full credit card number.

3. How We Share Your Information
3.1 With Other Users
Your deck is visible to other users who pass your saved Vilter criteria. This includes your photos, bio, and other information you choose to include and make visible in your deck, but NOT your demographic filtering data from ViSi.
3.2 With Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate our platform:

Active Accounts
- Account and deck data: Retained while your account is active
- Messages: Retained while your account is active
- Usage data: Retained for up to 18 months
After Account Deletion
- Most data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Some data may be retained longer if required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes
- User reports involving your account may be retained for safety purposes
- Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics
5. Your Rights and Choices
5.1 Access and Portability
You can access most of your personal information directly through your account settings. You may request a copy of your data by contacting privacy@ondeck.id.
5.2 Correction
You can update your deck and account information at any time through the platform. Some demographic information may be locked for 30 days after changes to prevent manipulation.
5.3 Deletion
You can delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@ondeck.id. Upon deletion:
- Your deck is immediately hidden from other users
- Your data is queued for deletion
- Associated data (messages, matches, filters) is deleted via cascade
- Deletion is typically completed within 30 days
5.4 Communication Preferences
You can manage your notification preferences in your account settings. You may opt out of promotional emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any promotional email.
5.5 Do Not Track
Our platform does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

You have the right to request information about:
